Question 1

How quickly can a mobile tyre fitter reach me?

Accepted Answer

Our average response time is 30–60 minutes depending on your location and our technician availability. In most of our core coverage areas across the East of England we aim to reach you within 45 minutes. We operate 24/7, so even in the middle of the night, we'll do our best to get to you fast.

Question 2

Do you offer 24 hour mobile tyre fitting?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer a genuine 24-hour mobile tyre fitting service, 7 days a week including Bank Holidays. Whether you need an emergency tyre at 3am or a routine fitting on a Sunday afternoon, we're here to help. Call us on 01279 881234 any time.

Question 3

Can you replace a tyre on the roadside?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Our vans are fully equipped to carry out tyre replacements at the roadside. We carry a wide range of tyre sizes and brands, so in most cases we can supply and fit a replacement on the spot. If we don't have the exact tyre in stock, we'll source it as quickly as possible.

Question 4

What areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

We cover Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, and surrounding areas. We are based in the East of England, giving us fast access to a wide area. If you're unsure whether we cover your location, give us a call on 01279 881234 and we'll let you know.

Question 5

Can you come to my home?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our home tyre fitting service is one of our most popular offerings. We'll come to your driveway or home address at a time that suits you and fit your tyres there. No need to visit a tyre garage or wait around — we bring the service to you.

Question 6

How much does mobile tyre fitting cost?

Accepted Answer

Our pricing is competitive and transparent. The cost depends on the tyre size, brand, and type of service required. There is no extra call-out charge in most of our coverage areas. Contact us on 01279 881234 or via WhatsApp for a quick quote — we'll give you a price before we come out.

Question 7

Can a puncture always be repaired?

Accepted Answer

Not always. A puncture can only be repaired if it is in the central three-quarters of the tread, if the hole is no larger than 6mm, and if the tyre structure has not been damaged. We follow British Standard BS AU 159 guidelines. If a repair isn't safe, we'll always tell you honestly and recommend a replacement.

Question 8

How do I know if my tyre needs replacing?

Accepted Answer

Signs your tyre needs replacing include: tread depth below 1.6mm (the legal minimum), visible bulges or cracks in the sidewall, a nail or screw embedded in the tyre, or repeated slow punctures. If your tyre is over 5–6 years old, it may need replacing regardless of tread depth due to rubber degradation.

Question 9

What tyre brands do you supply?

Accepted Answer

We supply tyres from a wide range of brands to suit all budgets. Premium brands include Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Pirelli, and Goodyear. Mid-range options include Hankook, Yokohama, and Falken. We also carry quality budget tyres. We'll recommend the best option for your vehicle and budget.

Question 10

Can I provide my own tyres?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we can fit tyres you've purchased yourself. Just ensure the tyres are the correct size and specification for your vehicle. There will be a fitting fee for this service. Contact us to confirm sizing and arrange a visit.

Question 11

What is a TPMS sensor?

Accepted Answer

TPMS stands for Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. It's a safety system fitted to most modern vehicles (required on all new cars sold in the EU/UK since 2014) that monitors the air pressure in your tyres and alerts you if a tyre becomes dangerously under-inflated. Each wheel has a sensor that transmits pressure data to your car's computer.

Question 12

Why is my TPMS warning light on?

Accepted Answer

Your TPMS warning light can come on for several reasons: one or more tyres may be significantly under-inflated, a TPMS sensor battery may have died, a sensor may be damaged or faulty, or the system may need reprogramming after a tyre change. Give us a call and we can diagnose and fix the issue at your location.

Question 13

Can you replace TPMS sensors?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we carry TPMS sensors compatible with a wide range of vehicles. Our technicians can replace faulty or dead sensors at your location and programme them to your vehicle's system — no dealer visit required. We cover all major makes and models.

Question 14

Do TPMS sensors need programming?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in most cases new TPMS sensors need to be programmed (or 'relearned') to communicate with your vehicle's ECU. We carry professional diagnostic tools to handle this for most vehicle makes and models. We'll ensure your TPMS warning light is cleared before we leave.

Question 15

Do you fit van tyres?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we supply and fit tyres for all types of vans, from small city vans to large panel vans and crew cabs. We carry load-rated commercial tyres appropriate for your van's specifications. Our mobile service means minimal downtime for your business.

Question 16

Do you offer fleet tyre services?

Accepted Answer

Question 17

Can you fit tyres at a workplace?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Our workplace tyre fitting service is very popular with businesses. We can fit tyres in your office car park or business premises, meaning your employees can have their tyres changed without taking time off or visiting a garage. We can handle multiple vehicles in a single visit.

Question 18

Do I need to be present during fitting?

Accepted Answer

For most services you don't need to be physically present, but we do need safe access to your vehicle. If you're at home, you can leave the car on the driveway. For roadside emergencies, we recommend remaining safely away from the vehicle while we work. We'll always call you when we're on our way and when the job is complete.

Question 19

Do you accept card payments?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as cash and bank transfer. We'll confirm payment options when you book. For businesses, we can also provide invoices.
